What You'll Need to Get Started

In order to get started making these pregnancy mocktails, It’s helpful to have a few tools on hand to make them taste AMAZING. Luckily, you can get this full Cocktail Bartender Kit from Amazon for under $30. This set will give you everything you need to make these cocktails plus a few more! It includes a cocktail shaker, cocktail strainer, muddler, jigger, pourer, bottle stopper, corkscrew, ice tongs, and a long stirring spoon.

If you don’t want to purchase this full cocktail making set or already have parts of it, here are the things you’ll want to make sure you have for these cocktails.

Muddler: A muddler is very similar to a pestle and is used in cocktail making to grind or combine certain ingredients. This is often used to get the full flavor from herbs, spices, and fruits. You will want to get a muddler if you plan on making any of the following drinks from this list.

  • Virgin Mojito with Sprite
  • Virgin Blue Lagoon
  • Cranberry Ginger Mocktail

Cocktail Shaker: A cocktail shaker combines all the ingredients for your drink alongside ice to mix it well and cool everything off quickly. While a cocktail shaker is not a complete necessity, it’s super handy to have around if you plan on making a lot of cocktails (or mocktails) for yourself or for friends and definitely makes for a better drink. It’s best to use a cocktail shaker if you plan on making the following drinks from this list:

  • Whisky Sour Mocktail
  • Virgin Blue Lagoon
  • Pain Killer
  • Cranberry Ginger
  • Pineapple Mocktail with Ginger Beer

Cocktail Strainer: While some drinks may be shaken with ice to cool them off, not all drinks are served over ice. For those drinks, a cocktail strainer is used to keep the ice from falling into the glass. However, it can also be used to prevent large chunks of fruit or other food from falling in the drink as well. This one drink from the list tastes best when it’s strained before drinking.

  • Pineapple Mocktail with Ginger Beer

A Few Bonus Items...

Citrus Juicer: While it’s not completely necessary, a citrus juicer will definitely make your life easier when it comes to mocktails with lime or lemon juice.

Cocktail Serving Glass: In my opinion, a cocktail isn’t a cocktail without a cute glass to serve it in! While you will probably want to get different types of glasses for for different cocktails, these embossed cocktail glasses are a great start! The set of six is perfect to have around the house for girls’ night!

Okay, now that we’ve got everything we need, let’s get started making some incredible pregnancy mocktails!
